INFOINDONESIAINEWS.COM | SUMBAWA BESAR, NTB – Rhee Sector Police, Sumbawa Police, together with Narcotics Unit personnel, succeeded in apprehending and apprehending the alleged perpetrator of methamphetamine abuse in the Rhee Police jurisdiction.
In this disclosure, a man with the initials SM als M (28) Islam, a resident of Labuan Badas Village, District. Labuan Badas District. Sumbawa was arrested on Wednesday 26 June 2024 at 15.00 WITA.
The alleged perpetrator was arrested when he wanted to carry out a crystal methamphetamine transaction located on the side of the Sumbawa-Tano highway km 34 Rhee Beru Hamlet, Rhee Village, Rhee District, Sumbawa Regency.
Sumbawa Police Chief AKBP Heru Muslimin S.I.K, M.I.P, through the Narcotics Head, confirmed the arrest, starting from information received by Rhee IPDA Police Chief Romi Octavian Munir regarding a crystal methamphetamine transaction. and immediately made an arrest.
“The arrest was characterized by a chase, because the alleged perpetrator was aware of the officers’ arrival, but the perpetrator was still successfully arrested,” said Kasat.
During the search, officers found a number of pieces of evidence including 4 white crystal bags suspected of being the narcotic type shabu which were wrapped in clear/transparent plastic with a total gross weight of 1.84 grams, 2 glass pipes, 4 empty bundles of medicine clips, 2 plastic spade, 1 gas lighter, 1 pair of scissors, 1 pack of Raptor brand cigarettes, 1 pack of Omni brand cigarettes, 1 Android cellphone, cash amounting to IDR. 400,000 (four hundred thousand Rupiah).
Rhee Police personnel together with Narcotics Unit personnel conducted investigations at the alleged perpetrator’s house, but no evidence related to narcotics was found.
Kasat also said that based on initial interrogation, the alleged perpetrator was a drug user and dealer, where he bought the illicit goods from someone, then distributed them again by the alleged perpetrator.
Currently, the alleged perpetrator and all evidence have been taken and secured to the Sumbawa Police Headquarters for further investigation and legal proceedings.
